She combines speaking with world-class vocals, dazzling electric violin, powerful lyricism and heartfelt musical storytelling to create her potent "keynote concerts." 
As a classical violinist turned rebel, former backup musician to rock stars and an Off-Broadway star herself, as well as prolific Disney songwriter and acclaimed indie rocker/musical theatre creator, Val expertly wields the power of music to accentuate her message, guiding people toward a more vivid, fearless place where they can push their edges and thrive in uncertainty. 
She has shared the stage with icons such as Cyndi Lauper, Cher, Tina Turner and Michelle Obama; and her work has garnered accolades like the Jonathan Larson Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre, the Ovation Award for Best Musical, the Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical and the ASCAP Richard Rodgers Award.She has taught at Stanford, Emerson College, Berklee College of Music and the University of Washington, as well as the groundbreaking Electrify Your Strings program, which brings rock arrangements and high-octane performance energy to school orchestras throughout the nation.

Val Vigoda's Personal Bio

Val Vigoda is a prolific Disney songwriter, former Army lieutenant, and highly dynamic and award-winning musician. As a violinist/singer turned rebel rocker, Val has captivated audiences worldwide, from touring with global acts like Cyndi Lauper, Joe Jackson and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, to opening for icons like
Val is not just a performer, but a creative force who has co-written and starred in multiple award-winning musicals produced in New York and around the world. Shredding a six-string electric violin, she formed the acclaimed indie band GrooveLily, which released eight albums and created a breakout Off-Broadway hit musical hailed as “exhilarating” by The New York Times.
Her talent caught the attention of Disney, leading to a long and fruitful relationship, where she and her collaborators adapted Toy Story into a musical for Disney Cruise Line, and wrote over 20 new songs for Disney’s theme parks and animated films. Val’s work has earned her prestigious honors, including the Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical, the Ovation Award for Best Musical, the ASCAP Richard Rodgers Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre, and the Jonathan Larson Award (in honor of the creator of RENT).
An honors graduate of Princeton University, Val has also shared her expertise as an educator, teaching masterclasses at Stanford, Emerson College, Berklee College of Music, and the University of Washington. Her passion for storytelling through music is evident in everything she does, from writing musicals to delivering inspiring keynotes. Val is on a joyful quest to elevate the value of creative expression and its essential power to connect, move and positively transform people.
She lives in Los Angeles with her son Mose, with whom she makes epic and terrible rap battles while washing dishes.

As a philanthropist, James has been selected to received an iconic award from ‘U4G (Unite4: Good)’, a company dedicated to building a sustainable social good movement. It’s James' personal goal to get people around the world active in spreading good by partnering with United for Good. James has funded numerous programs to help homeless people and provide educational tools and resources for inner city children.
He believes it is our duty to give back and help those in need. James never stops believing that with proper guidance and training you can achieve anything you desire in life.
